About Bowen Therapy
Bowen is a self-healing & balancing therapy where gentle moves are made over different parts of the body to help the body relax and re-balance itself.
It can be safely used on anybody from newborn to the elderly.
A series of light moves are made on the body with a short break between each series of moves allowing the body to respond.
The therapist makes moves with the thumbs & fingers over muscles, ligaments, tendons, fascia & joints in order to stimulate the natural healing response of the body.
Each series of moves can have such a relaxing & profound effect on the whole body increasing general well-being.
It is often surprising & quite remarkable how the gentle light moves can have such a powerful effect.
